Bad Excellent

I have had 2 knee replacements, and a hip replacement and find I can now enjoy a BATH because I can now get in and out of the tub. I have not been able to do so for many years and have had to shower only.I sit on the chair and it lowers me into the tub and when I am ready, I push a button and the chair brings me out of the tub to the edge, I can then easily slid right off of the chair and stand. It feels so good to be able to soak in a bubble bath and just "Veg-out".

Amazing Product, Amazing Service!

Last year about this time I purchased a Bella Vita bathtub lift for my parents.  The lift is amazing and they have thoroughly enjoyed being able to bathe again, however, it broke.  I called and got Josh, who promptly reported it to Drive Medical.  Drive Medical contacted me the following day and within a few days, I had the replacement part.  A couple days later, Josh called to make sure that Drive had contacted me, and assured me that I could probably change the back of the unit myself without having to resort to a repair person.  Josh was right, the lift is fixed.  Then I called Damien to see if I needed to return the old parts.  Damien was so polite and looked up my file, then let me know I could discard the parts.

These two young men are a credit to your company.  I am impressed with the customer service that Active Forever provides, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for medical equipment.  Additionally, I am impressed that Drive stands by their product with prompt replacement.  You can be pleased with your vendor, but most of all with Josh and Damien.  I commend them, and your company for hiring them.

Bellavita Bath Lift

I was so excited to finally have a way into the tub without possibly falling. However, the description doesn't tell you that if you have a standard or even a small tub this doesn't really work out so well. I have a standard sized tub from the early 80's and even though this device fits into the tub, the tub is too shallow for me to be submerged so I'm really taking a sponge bath instead of a good soak; I'd say that I'm 80% or better out of the water. And of course I can't recline either because there's no room for that feature to work. There is also no leg room once you're in and down into the water. One of the main things that I still wanted to sit in the tub for is to soak my painful limbs and joints. That is impossible with this medical device. The other problem that I have is this also makes washing my hair a very difficult task as well since so much of my body is above water. So even though the lift works as described, I would recommend it for folks who have larger and deeper tubs for it to work well for them.
