It's just the right size. I feel more stable with it than with just the cane. It isn't cumbersome like platform canes. The best part is that I no longer need a third hand. ;) Because it stands up on its own, I don't have to fumble with my cane when I need both hands to do things like checking out at the store.
I've only found 1 small problem: it needs to be straightened &/or aligned from time to time with use, but that's such a small thing, overall, this is 1 of the best purchases I've made to help with my mobility ... & the price @ ActiveForever is the best around!
