I purchased this item on April 23, 2009, and have found it to be the best purchase I ever made. I am 85 and very disabled as a result of severe neuropathy, degenerative disc disease, and an ankle that is permanently crippled by posterior tibial tendon dysfunction. In other words, I'm a physical mess and getting worse. However, this wonderful rollator/wheelchair has helped keep the doors of the world open to me and has seen me through two major trips to Europe, a cruise to New England, and just this fall a cruise to Canada. It is amazingly sturdy and very reliable. I no longer can stand alone or take a step alone anymore and I am increasingly using my Navigator as a wheel chair when I travel, with the assistance of my son or my daughter. It's gone over many sites in Baltic countries, over rough roads in small villages, and around the decks of cruise ships. The recent trip was on Queen Mary 2, and even though I was not able to get a "disabled" stateroom, I was able to get the Navigator through the doorway of a "regular" room by just folding in one of the wheels. It folds and is allowed onboard flights with me, where it's stored in a closet. The Navigator has served me well and I highly recommend it.
