Then, by using the manual hand crank, the person is quickly and comfortably lifted out of their bed and into the Body UP. From this point, the patient may be quickly and easily transported to another nearby location, like a restroom, vehicle, or other testing facility, without having to be moved from the lift to a transport apparatus.
The Body Up also has the ability to act as bathroom commode or showerchair with the additional Bath Seat and Water Proof Pads. So, taking a patient suffering from mobility impairment from their beds to the shower, something that normally would require a patient lift, a transport and a shower chair, now can be done with one simple product.
