The strap does do a good job of alleviating knee pain but I found the 'single patella' band (below the knee) to be 'almost as effective'. Also, the velcro on the top part of this strap catches my shorts and 'snags' them! Is there any way you can suggest to avoid this?

I am so pleased with my Cho-Pat duel action knee straps. I am doing a lot of snow shoveling and running the snow blower. I am not sure I could not do it with out these with out blowing out my knees. A friend showed me hers and I knew they were just what I needed.

The only issue with the knee brace is the stiching of the Velcro.  Iam not sure how long befor its start comming apart.

I had purchases the brace for my daughter in college.  She has been playing varsity volleyball for 4 years and now in a class in college.  It has been difficult for her to jump while playing because of pain in her knee.  We read about the benefits of the brace and thought we'd give it a try.  It improved her mobility and relieved her pain substantially.  It was a good fix for her.  Thank you...Michelle

I started to develop issues with my knees, and this product seems to help relieve these immensely.  I have two of these straps now, and just used them on a 7 day backpack trip in Colorado.  I had no problems with my knees.

Very helpful for knee pain that developed due to a lot of figure skating, a very asymmetric sport.  Keeps me going as I continue rehab.

Only complaint is that its a little hard to keep from slipping down my knee, especially over tights.
