For the last year I have had off and on nagging hamstring and piriformis pain and recently a lower back pain. I have regular massage therapy and do my stretches to help relieve this pain. I do get much better over time, but the last time I started to feel muscle aches coming on, I did a google search and came across some great remedies.

One, which I love, is some great stretches I found on youtube.com. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFtUgS69rPk. These three stretches are great for any runner who wants to stretch out that piriformis pain.
My other google search found this great tool, called the DaVinci tool. It is made of hard rubber and is 4 inches at the base and 3 inches tall. You can rotate this tool in three different position for optimal positions for pressure point release.
I first placed the tool on my sore shoulder blade for 20 seconds. Yes, it hurt, then relaxed for 20 seconds and repeated four more times. That was all it took to get some relief.
My next sore spot was my piriformis and you have to careful to place the DaVinci tool in the correct spot. After several treatments, my sore muscle is mending.
