I do crafts and with this magnifer my hands are both free to make my jewelry making I would highly recommend this for seniors for their special hobbies.

I've had one of these for 15 years, ever since I started having difficulty reading. Bifocals more or less take care of the reading, but if you want to do close work (I do electronics.) they aren't good enough. This OptiVisor totally solves that problem, and it doesn't get in your way. It's also well-made. I love it.

I have used several of these for many years, one in each of my office exam rooms, one in my shop, and one in my home.
And have purchased several for family members.
I have found the 2.5 magnification the most useful. But of course the higher the magnification the shorter the focal length.
One caution, wearing the visor obstructs your vision above it and makes it more likely that you might bump your head.
