I purchased this item back in 2005 when my son was born. I have to say it was a very wise investment. I traveled alot, as well I always had problems with fitting strollers in my car. This was the perfect invention for Parents on the go. It is convienient and easy to use even my parents loved using it. My son is 4 now and I still use the car seat and once in a while after a long travel or a day out in the mall, I will let him remain in the seat and convert to the stroller. He still has not outgrown it. Everyone asks me where I got it from.
