Health Craft Assista Rail (Standard)

The Assista-Rail is a secure fixed bed rail that installs between your box spring and mattress. It may be purchased as the Assista-Rail Standard, or you may add a "bed pocket" (for easy access to personal care items) and/or the Assista-cane (an optional cane handle that mounts to the Assista-Rail). The Assista-Cane is a fixed handle providing solid support for transferring in and out of bed. It provides a surface that minimizes wrist strain and twisting during transfer operations. The Assista-Rail Deluxe includes the Bed Pocket and Assista-Cane.

Note: VERTICAL LOAD BEARING ONLY - DO NOT use if you require more than minimal sideward (lateral) support. Do not use with electric or hospital style beds. Supplied strap must be installed, tightened and regularly inspected for secure operation. Lock casters on mobile beds prior to using rail. Due to the potential risks associated with neck entrapment, the Assista-Rail is not recommended for users with the following conditions: erratic body movements, altered mental status, pre-existing conditions such as confusion, restlessness and dementia.
