Step out of the Bright Feet Lighted Slippers and the lights go out after a few seconds.

Note: It may take 4 to 5 steps for the LEDs to activate the first time slippers are worn. Remember, Bright Feet Lighted Slippers light up only in the dark.

I bought a pair of these for my mom for Christmas and she absolutely loves them. She lives in Virginia where the winters are pretty cold, so they keep her feet warm. She especially likes how the lights stay on for a few seconds while you get in bed. Her cats still don't know what to think about them though :)
