The cover is not removable as the instructions suggest. If you get cover dirty, you cannot remove from coils to clean it, which not only is inconvenient, but greatly shortens its longevity. It is quiet and small and does what is says.

This is a good product. It took me a few nights to figure out the correct temp. as I need it cool all night but not too cold. It is so helpful with hot flashes that I never want to be without it. I turn it on about 30 minutes before I go to bed so it gets down to the temp. that I like. I called the manufacturer, just to get some questions answered and understand the product a little better. They were very helpful. Active Forever - shipped it quickly. I think I could actually sell these like hot cakes! I am very happy with my purchase!

Wow - the Cool-or-Heat Sleep Pad nicely integrates into my life. Like one of your other buyers we hava pillow-top foam mattress which is comfy and supportive but reflects heat and I am particularly sensitised to it. My wife thinks the bed is fine. Your pad allows us to divide the temps up on each half and I can set it to what I need it to be, like having my own personal heat pump that goes up or down as needed. Great product.

I was skeptical at first...being the product was non-returnable. However, my husband LOVES this pad. It has allowed him to get a good nights sleep- without waking up in a puddle :) We would highly recommend the product to anyone who is looking to either keep cool...or that needs to warm up!

There is no detailed product manual. I am uncertain of the function of the button next to the LCD thermometer. Is it actually a thermostadt? Consequently, the level of coolness is not consistent.
