The Ionkids bracelet fits on the child comfortably. It is barely noticeable to the wearer. The underside of the bracelet contains a sensor that recognizes the presence of the Child's skin and will sound the alarm if taken off. The bracelet comes with a strong locking mechanism that can not be opened without a key, which is secured to the base unit.
