Key precautions when using the Hydrohose:
- Unwind Hydrohose and fill with water before rewinding into the Auto Rewind Hose Reel for first use.
- For prolonged life of battery and hose, release water pressure from hose before rewinding. First turn off water at faucet, then open spray nozzle to release pressure. It is not necessary to drain all of the water out of the hose before rewinding. Just release the pressure.
Please Note: The Hydrohose long lasting battery comes fully charged. A charged battery should last a full season. Fully recharge the battery at the first of the next season. Warning: As with all rechargable batteries, Please charge with this one care, batteries contain acid, and should be handled and placed where no damage can occur. - Read all instructions prior to use.
- Your Auto Rewind Hose Reel is protected from overloading on the motor by a circuit breaker. If the loading on the unit causes too much current to draw on the motor, a circuit breaker will trip to protect the motor from damage.

Possible reasons for an overloaded motor:
- Hose caught in landscaping while rewinding
- Prolonged use
- Water pressure exceeds 110psi
- If the circuit breaker trips during use, the unit will shut off for approximately 30 seconds. After this short waiting period, this Auto Rewind Hose Reel will reset itself and you may begin normal use.
