ActiveWrap Shoulder Wrap Specifications:

Gel Pack Dimensions: 7" x 10"
Includes: One (1) ActiveWrap shoulder compress, two (2) non-migrating gel inserts, one (1) nylon drawstring carrying bag, care instructions

Instructions for Cold Therapy:

Remove the gel packs from the wrap and place in the freezer for at least one hour before application. Ice down for a maximum 15 minutes per treatment.

Instructions for Heat Therapy:

Remove gel packs from sleeve and immerse in microwavable container filled with water. Heat for 1-2 minutes until pack achieves even temperature. Remove it from the water and place the pack in the protective nylon sleeve. If no water is available, place the gel insert onto a paper towel and then into the microwave. Set the power level to high and follow the table below so that you don't overheat the pack.

Stays in place and ice packs stay cold plenty long enough. I like these ice packs since the gel doesn't shift around when you're wearing it. The only negative I would say is the neoprene smell is pretty strong.

I tried the instant ice packs at grocery store, no good. Much too frustrating keeping the pack in place. However those packs were/are very flexible. I bought this device to keep the ice pack in place and maintain flexibility. I got 90% success. I wish the packs were more flexible. I get cooling in the desired area but was hoping to get maximum ice concentrated. I would certainly buy this again and assume I didn't adjust it correctly. I never read instruction sheets, perhaps I should. Unit was quick shipped and arrived in new condition. Vendor is trusted and recommended. This comment left: March 21, 2009
