Clever little device. Less noticeable than other over the counter in ear devices. Comfortable. Would recommend as an amplifier. Therefore, not effective in all situations but very good at what it does. Unit died after 2 months. With my moderate use, I expected it to last twice as long. If Songbird offered half price "refills" or replacement batteries I would have continued using them. I have since purchased some non-disposable aides. Everything else claimed is true. Mine just didn't last 400 hours.

Just received the disposable hearing aid today, 5/28/09. Lightweight, comfortable and great for my moderate hearing loss. Easy to adjust and forget it's there. Now, I'll see how long it lasts. Too bad they don't make this model rechargeable. Buy it in a heartbeat.

Only tried once so far, for conversation hearing. Did amplify sounds but earbud kept slipping out of ear canal. Working on remedying that situation. Only needed for infrequent usage.
