We had some concerns about the weight of the rail which we had planned to install in a much older tiled bathroom. We also thought it was just too much for the small area. Instead, we made a minor adjustment to it and installed it to an outside post where it is angled to assist the elderly homeowner in exiting his home. It was a perfect compromise and he loves it. It also meant not having to stall a rail post into his blacktop driveway. And since this rail goes up, it does not permanently detract from parking space.
