We've researched and tested several rollator walkers and found the Dana Douglas Nexus III Rollator Walker to be one of the most innovative mobility aids we've ever seen due to its unique folding capability, comfortable seating, easy-rolling wheels, lightweight and cable-free brake system. The cable-free brake system enables you to move in tight areas, fold-down, place in your car, etc. without the worry of snagging the brake cable. Also, the patented cable-free braking system of the Dana Douglas Nexus III Rollator Walker is maintenance free.
Another great feature of the Dana Douglas Nexus III Rollator Walker is the 2-position seating. The padded flexible backrest can be positioned on either side of the rollator to allow for seating on both sides. On one side, the handles can act as armrests, flip the backrest over and they are out of the way.
The Dana Douglas Nexus III Rollator is the only walker to offer a double-bearing front fork system. All other rollators use one steel bearing, plastic bearing, or nylon bushing per wheel mostly in a plastic mold. Why is this important? A double-bearing system makes the Dana Douglas Nexus III Rollator flutter free, which ultimately makes it roll and turn smoother and easier than any other rollator. This gives you greater control when using the Nexus III. The custom 8" wheels also provide smoother rolling on rough surfaces. The easy folding mechanism enables you to walk through narrow doorways with ease. The Dana Douglas Nexus III Rollator Walker folds inward so all that is needed is a slight lift on the red handle in the seat to allow the Nexus walker to partially fold so you can pass through a narrow door safely.
