INCLINE Aquatic Underwater Treadmill by Aquabilt
Incline Underwater Treadmill - Personal Aquatic Treadmill
The INCLINE Aquatic Underwater Treadmill by Aquabilt enhances the high-resistance and low-impact benefits of aqua exercise therapy.
Every time you take a step, you put three to seven times the weight of your body on your joints. Take that same step in water, and the natural buoyancy of H2O gently lifts the pressure off your joints, while still allowing you to work your muscles. People with arthritis and other physical limiting conditions are increasingly turning to aquatic therapy for arthritis pain relief and conditioning.
We have done our research regarding aquatic equipment, and Incline represents the highest quality, beautifully engineered treadmills in this moderate price range.
The INCLINE Aquatic Underwater Treadmill by Aquabilt enables smooth, self-powered motion just as a traditional treadmill but under water.
This powerful water exercise machine provides double-sided two levels of resistance:
- Rolling wheels provide easier movement for lower resistance workout, optimum for Arthritis pain relief, rehab and therapy.
- Flat platform side provides higher resistance for slower, more intense workout. (avail on all models)
The INCLINE Aquatic Underwater Treadmill is available in two different models:
- The PAT 201 model provides an outstanding workout that is easy to use, ideal for home pool use. Weighs only 72 lbs.
- The PAT 302 model is equipped with a Rotor Resistance component, (similar in concept to a flywheel) ,which enhances belt movement, ideal for athletic training, health care facilities and injury rehab. It has been recognized as a wonderful secret weapon for training professional athletes. It offers a very unique, full resistance workout for vigorous, yet low-impact workouts. Weighs only 75 lbs.

THE AQUABILT ADVANTAGE In brief, using the Aquabilt non-motorized treadmill provides double the muscle effort and strength-building benefit because it requires use of not only the Quadriceps Muscle Group(Front thigh muscles), but unlike pool walking and motorized treadmills, also the Hip Flexors, Gluteal, Hamstring, and Calf Muscle Groups(Back of leg) as the backward movement of the leg engages and pulls the treadmill belt. This greatly increases the effort required(Calorie Burn) as well as the strength building effect, and reduces the time required to achieve these greater benefits since they are occurring during the same number of strides(or footballs) as in the pool-walking and motorized treadmill exercise. It is very important that sales people fully understand the significance of the above information so they may share it with prospective customers As this knowledge becomes more widespread, it will clearly establish the Aquabilt Advantage not only with the Residential Market, but also in the Fitness and Therapy Industries. Summary: 1. Low Impact due to buoyancy allows for more frequent exercise without discomfort 2. High resistance due to movement of limbs trough water makes exercise far more efficient resulting in greater calorie burn per minute 3. Use of non-motorized equipment results in greater |

Aquabilt Frequently Asked Questions
- How is an aquatic treadmill different from a land unit?
One key difference is the reduction of time needed to obtain an equivalent benefit. Due to the resistance provided by the water surrounding the body (12 times greater than air), the effort and calories expended per minute are significantly greater than using a land treadmill.
This is in addition to the resistance provided by the treadmill itself. Therefore the time required to gain the equivalent benefit is approximately 1/2 of a land unit.
- How is the treadmill powered?
The Aquabilt Aquatic Treadmill has no internal power source.
The Power is in you!
This fact allows the user to instantly vary the effort being expended across a broad range of speed and back again, simulating real-life conditions such as strolling and power-walking or hill-climbing and track work.
Water shoes are a necessity to receive the greatest benefit and comfort.
- What are dimensions of the treadmill?
L: 38"; W: 26"; Handrail Height: 46"; Weight: PAT 201 - 72 lbs, PAT 302 - 75 lbs
- How much maintenance does my Aquabilt Treadmill require?
Actually, the Aquabilt Treadmill has been designed to be nearly maintenance-free. All materials used are specified for aquatic and pool environment.
The patented bearing system uses a proprietary combination of proven materials including teflon which is part of the mixture, not a coating.
The treadmill belt makes use of a patented self-adjusting mechanism which will ensure long belt life. .
Periodic washing with car wash soap using a terry cloth towel or new sponge are all that is needed to maintain the original finish.
