This is the most fantastic hearing device I have used for hearing. If you have a complex about having a clip on mic or earbud that is visible it may not be for you. However, if you try it you will definitely forget about it being visible. It makes those high priced SCAM hearing aides sound like ear plugs. And, although you will not need to, you could buy 10 of these for the price of one "SCAM" AIDE.

The Pocket Talker Pro is the perfect solution for my dad.  No longer able to keep up with an in-ear hearing aid or change its tiny batteries, my dad remains a participant in the conversations around him in his assisted living home.  The PTP is a great alternative to regular hearing aids.  It amplifies conversations and television audio  very well.

I bought this for my elderly mother that is 92 years old. Her hearing has gotten so bad from inner ear damage that she hasn't heard a conversation in years. We recently had to put her in an extended care facility which made it even worse for people to communicate with her. We were all skeptical about this as we had tried other versions. I have to say when my husband set it up and we put the ear piece in her ear, it was probably the first time she had heard us without us screaming in her ear in a very long time. In fact the hospital was so impressed that they asked me where they could get some. This is a wonderful unit. The only thing I would be careful about is if you have it turned up too far and get it close it will squeal, we have only turned it up half way. But I would say this will really change things for my family.
