RTS Raised Toilet Seat Assembly Instructions
- Remove the existing seat from the toilet by loosening the two metal or plastic nuts located behind the toilet (Additional tools may be required).
- After removing the old toilet seat, place the mounting bracket over the holes on the rear of the toilet. Make sure it is centered, and then put a bolt through each hole.
- With the bolts in place, hold the mounting bracket while screwing the ergonut (plastic nut) clockwise until firmly attached to the nut. ***Be sure the bracket is attached tightly to the toilet***
- If not using armrests, place provided caps in the armholes on the seat and push until flush with the unit.
- Set the assembled base unit over the top of mounting bracket and move to the left to lock. The locking pin will make a clicking noise once in place and secure. (Locking mechanism is the blue piece to the rear of the RTS Unit.)
- To remove the unit, simply lift up on quick release lever and move seat base to the right ~1".
WARNING: While lifting, do not insert fingers in gap between lever and seat.
Raised Toilet Seat Safety and care Information: READ CAREFULLY
- When attaching the RTS to the mounting bracket, you will hear a clicking sound, indicating that the locking pin has reached its final position. DO NOT USE THE RAISED TOILET SEAT IF FOR ANY REASON A PROPER FIT CANNOT BE ACHIEVED.
- After your RTS has been assembled and installed, make sure that all components fit together tightly.
- The armrests and grip handles are designed to support the user's arms. DO NOT sit on the armrests or handles.
- The RTS has a high-gloss finish to create the best adhesion with bare skin. Use maximum care if the body of the user has been coated wit lotion or other slippery personal care product.
- Before use clean surface thoroughly according to Care and Maintenance below.
Raised Toilet Seat CARE and MAINTENANCE
- This product can be easily cleaned with regular household disinfectant cleaning products. DO NOT USE scouring pads or abrasive powders.
- Avoid immersing in water.
- Periodically inspect for looseness or damage
