I bought this Bed Rail over a year ago now and it has worked great.  I haven't fallen out of bed since and my husband can finally get a good night's sleep without worrying every time I move. I like that it can be shortened and used to help me get out of bed and to lean on when standing up so I don't slip or strain my back.  It fits our king size bed with no problem at all.

Got a pair for my father-in-law.  Very sturdy and work well, and they work on an adjustable bed.  Only hitch is that if you want them on both sides for a single matress, they need to overlap in the middle.

I got this bed rail after my 86 yr. old dad fell out of bed. I couldn't find one in a store around here that was sturdy enough for an adult, at a reasonable price. This one is very sturdy, and convenient the way it folds down to get him in and out of bed. And the price was about half what I would have paid at one of the medical supply stores in town. We are very happy with it!
