I have problems with my elbows. Although I make herbal microwave bags that have worked well, I decided to try this out. It gets VERY hot. Too hot. On this model the heat has the settings, on, off, & pause. There is no adjustable heat setting. I should have made an herbal cuff for the microwave instead.

I give this five stars for the extreme level of wonderful heat. Works great when my hands hurt. Also a fantastic way to use hand cream along with heat--just like a manicure--and that is very nice for the skin in winter. Highly recommend!

It serves my needs when I am at home, however, when I travel, I really would like to have something similar (maybe smaller) that runs on batteries.
