My Mom is 87 years old and her bedroom is on the first floor while mine is on the second floor. I would wake her to use the commode during the night because I would not be able to hear her if she called to me. with this pager all she does is push the button on my alarm goes off and then I can go down and help her. She feels more secure and so do I. It workd well from the 1st to the 2nd floor. Don't knwo how we did things without this pager. Thanks for a great product
