Description
The 3M Micropore Surgical Tape is a hypoallergenic paper tape that is highly breathable and promotes faster recovery of wounds. It comes with a hypoallergenic adhesive that adheres securely and leaves almost no sticky residue on the skin. The tapes are incredibly gentle and can be used for daily purposes. They can also be easily replaced without feeling any irritation or discomfort.
Small to medium dressings can be secured using the micropore tape, especially on damp, fragile, or at-risk skin, because the adhesive is gentle on all skin types. They can also be used to secure surgical or medical devices, such as ostomy devices.
These medical tapes are a great and affordable choice compared to other surgical tapes. Being a paper-made product, the tape is not stretchable. However, it will still conform to the contours of the body or the wound without stretching. Another advantage of the paper-made tape is that people can write all over it with pens, pencils, or markers.
