Description
Overview
Bauerfeind EpiTrain Elbow Support uses compression to cushion the sensitive muscles and soft tissue at the elbow. According to the manufacturer, this product uses medical-grade compression to "reduce edema, accelerate pain reduction, and enhance mobility." The elbow joint supporter comes with viscoelastic Epicon+ Pads that provide stable positioning of the elbow and promote healing in the lateral and medial elbow areas. Additionally, EpiTrain promotes improved muscle and joint control through its high-low knitted fabric, according to the manufacturer.
Made with an elastic Train knit, the EpiTrain Elbow Support promotes pain relief through mechanosensors. "Mechanosensing describes the ability of a cell to sense mechanical cues of its microenvironment,"sup>1 which means the Elbow Support by Bauerfeind is designed to adapt to movement and a changing environment. The support also uses extensive, targeted, and selective pain therapy to reduce pain.
Users can choose from seven different product sizes and three colors: beige, black, and titanium.
Indications
This product is indicated to be used for epicondylitis, osteoarthritis, pain, swelling, and a post-traumatic injury.

How to Clean
The EpiTrain Active Support can be cleaned by machine on a gentle, cold cycle and laundry detergent. Allow the product to air dry flat before using it.
