The stick is available in two options, one with an eighteen-inch shaft and another with a twenty-four-inch shaft. The eighteen-inch dressing stick is made of birch wood whereas the twenty-four-inch stick is made of aluminum. The wooden model has a “C” shaped hook at the end that can be used to hang the stick on walls. The bottom part of the wooden stick can also be used for pulling up zippers or opening the shoelace loops. The aluminum stick has a padded design that allows creating a good grip during use. The aluminum dressing aid is equipped with a shoe horn at the end instead of a “C” hook. The Shoe horn can be used by patients to easily slip on their shoes on without having to bend.
