The Drive Medical Canvas Sling for Floor Lifts and the Drive Medical Polyester Slings are functional and versatile patient lift sling that is used with either manual or automatic patient lifts to support users during transfers. These slings are primarily designed for floor lifts. The sling provides a safe and reliable support to the user during the transfer thereby reducing the stress and risk of injuries in both the patient and the caregiver.
The slings are available in four different options with varying designs. These options include the Drive Canvas Sling and the Medical Polyester Slings with and without commode cutouts. Both the canvas and the polyester slings are durable and resistant to deterioration due to exposure to moisture and machine washes. The slings are also strong enough to easily support weights up to three hundred and thirty pounds or nearly one hundred and fifty kilograms. The canvas slings have a solid design whereas the polyester slings have a mesh design. The options with the commode openings are suitable for transfers to commodes to provide an easy toileting solution.
The slings are ideal for floor lifts but can be used for other transfers too. They can be used to either support the user’s back or support them in a seated position. Two sling points and two or six cradle points provided by the sling helps accommodate different transfers. Optional chains or sling straps sold separately can be used to attach the sling to the lift.
