The Drive Model 45 Nebulizer is designed to ensure the administration of fine medicated mist deep into the lungs with an easy hand-held convenience. The nebulizer converts oil extracts, antibiotic, or other medicinal solutions into an aerosol with a fine particle size and consistent density for administration. The uniformity and consistency of the mist ensure a more efficient delivery of medication thereby promoting faster recovery. The nebulizer is an ideal aid for the treatment of asthma. Apart from this, the nebulizer is also used with respirators, mask test fit kits or used in research laboratories.
The Model 45 Nebulizer comes as a complete set with a small container, an easy-to-grip hand bulb, an extra jet, and a mouthpiece. To receive respiratory therapy, the container is filled with the liquid medication that is converted to an aerosol by building up air pressure with the help of the hand bulb. This aerosol is then pushed through the jet while the mouthpiece directs it precisely into the direction of the lungs. Users have the option to use the nebulizer with or without the mouthpiece as per their convenience. The nebulizer has a polycarbonate plastic construction to ensure enhanced strength and durability that renders it resistant to breakage and damage.
The Drive 45 Nebulizer is easy to take apart and put back together as needed. This facilitates the cleaning process. The components can be sterilized either by autoclaving, by boiling, or by cold sterilization as per the user’s convenience.
