The commode is equipped with padded armrests on the sides to provide users with a comfortable and reliable support to prevent them from falling off from the sides. The padded armrests are also used to support users while standing or sitting down on the seat.

The Drive Medical Bedside Commode also provides the convenience of tool free, drop down armrests. The arms of the commode can be moved out of the way to support the easy lateral transfer of users to and from the toilet seats.
