The Drive Medical Tamper Proof Magnetic Pull Cord Alarm is a patient safety alarm that is activated when the pull cord is disconnected from the magnetic pull-switch. This alarm prevents falls and improves overall safety by alerting the caregivers when the patient attempts to exit a wheelchair or bed without assistance. You can also adjust the volume on this device from 85 decibels to 95 decibels.
The Drive Medical 13603 Tamper Proof Magnetic Pull Cord Alarm can be easily mounted to a bed or wheelchair and comes complete with a holster and strap to mount to a wheelchair. It also includes a hook and loop fastener strip and mounting screws. For added flexibility, the pull-cord that activates the alarm is adjustable from 28 inches to 58 inches and can be attached to a patients clothes with an alligator clip.
