How to Clean

The Drive Medical Whisper must be washed immediately after each use to keep it functioning properly. Use the showerhead and hot water to carefully rinse. Regularly wash the seat covers, either by hand or using a washing machine on the high-temperature setting. Use commercial disinfectants or bath cleansers to wash, do not use a bio detergent with added enzymes as these may damage the seat covers. Hang covers until they are fully dry before reattaching to the seat.

Maintaining Controller Battery

Make sure that the controller battery is completely charged before use. To charge, remove the controller from the bath lift. Next, plug the charger jack into the socket on the end of the spiral cord of the controller. Plug the charger into a power outlet. If done correctly, a red light on the controller should shine. When completely charged, the controller light will change to green. The entire process of charging takes about 4 hours to complete.
