The Mckesson Medi-Pak Sterile Water is an irrigation liquid solution that is ideal for wound dressing moistening, wound debridement, and medical device irrigation. The sterile water comes filled in a reusable screw top bottle that provides a complete leak-free seal than regular foil-lidded containers.
The Mckesson Medi-Pak Sterile Water is intended to be used as an irrigation fluid to wash body cavities, sterilize wounds, debride wounds, or irrigate medical or surgical devices before applications. It is also beneficial to moisten wound dressings to facilitate easy removal and application of the new dressing. No antimicrobial or other similar substances have been added to the solution to keep it free from possibly harmful agents. This makes the solution completely safe for the skin, the body cavities, and surgical devices.
The McKesson's Irrigation Solution is available in different volumes which include bottles with volumes hundred milliliters, two hundred and fifty milliliters, and five-hundred milliliters. The sterile water is compliant with the USP-standards that ensure the strength, quality, and purity of the solution to be used for drug or medicinal uses.
It is important to note that once the container is open or damaged, the contents will not be sterile anymore.
