Medline Guardian Walker Platform Attachment connects to a standard walker as an important walker accessory for individuals who need to bear weight on their forearm instead of the hand. This weight bearing adjustment helps them maneuver the walker due to limited dexterity from weak arms after suffering from a stroke or complications with multiple sclerosis.

Walker Platform Attachments can be mounted to both sides of the walker if both arms are weak. When installing the attachment the walker should be set at the appropriate user height first. Then select the platform height which allows for a 90-degree elbow bend while the user maintains proper posture. If the user is bent over it will put too much stress on the shoulders.

The forearm comfortably rests into a latex-free support that's molded to the forearm with a hook and loop closure to keep the forearm in place. The support sits on top of a bar that moves from into the optimal weight bearing angle. The user holds on to the molded handle allowing the forearm to support the user's weight.
