Description
The North Coast Medical Vaginal Dilators come in a variety of different sizes to help build the user’s vaginal tissues. This is done by the dilators being inserted and gradually expanding the vaginal area. The dilators can be used by people who have vaginismus, have had a hysterectomy, are getting chemotherapy as well as for those who have stenosis. Vaginismus is a condition that causes the vaginal tissues to become tight after penetration. Hysterectomy and chemotherapy patients may experience vaginal dryness and atrophy after treatment.
The North Coast Medical NC46201 Series Vaginismus Dilators have different sizes so each patient can progress at their own time. This method is similar to vaginal weights where the user will start out with what is comfortable and gradually increase size over time. The dilators are also a great substitute for surgery and are an effective noninvasive treatment option. To use the dilator, simply insert the soft, rounded end into the vaginal area. Keep the dilator in place for 20 minutes and then remove.
If you have trouble inserting the dilator, you can use lubricant to help the dilator slide in more easily.
