Description
The FloorPro Bedside Mat Alarm is a one-inch alarm pad placed bedside to alert caregivers and medical professionals when a resident leaves a chair or bed. It helps prevent unwanted and potentially harmful falls and tumbles from bed. This product is ideal for patients who are considered a fall-risk. The sensor on the pad can be set to alert within the room only, the nurse’s station or both. It comes with an easily cleaned with disinfectant wipes cover for maximum sanitization.
The sensor uses an LED light, which flashes to let you know that it is functioning properly and when battery replacement is necessary. The alarm can be adjusted to the volume and tone that meets the unique comfort levels of each individual. It has shock resistant bumpers for enhanced alarm durability and includes a low-battery alert. This sensor works with most patients, but should be tested before use on each individual; an extremely lightweight patient may experience issues triggering the sensor.
