Spa-N-A-Box Portable Spa Filtration System Information:

The filtration system works the same for both the Spa2Go and the Spa-N-A-Box Portable Spa. The filtration systems have water intakes on the top, water out-takes on the bottom. There are three suction caps that come with the portable spas. The suction caps must be placed in the unit to change filter so water does not overflow. This portable spa has to be plugged in at all times to ensure warmth and keep the filtration system running. The chemical life depends on the chemistry readings in your portable spa.

Question: How long do chemicals last in the portable spa?

Answer: Approximately 4-6 months depending on environment and frequency of use.

Question: How many doses do the chemical sets supply? How often should the chemicals be used in the Spa-N-A-Box Portable Spa?

Answer: The chemicals should last from 4-6 months but it depends on the usage of the spa and what the water needs depending on the readings of the test strips.

Question: Is there available seating for either the Spa2Go or the Spa-N- A-Box?

Answer: The Spa2Go Portable Spa has an inflatable seat on the bottom so that you will not be directly sitting on the floor. The Spa-N-A-Box Portable Spa does not have a seat. It does have foam that goes on the bottom for a little bit of cushion underneath. This spa is not tall enough for it to have seats and if customers do put something in there as a seat, they will be positioning themselves too high. They risk not getting the bubble action directly on their back.

Question: Are there any estimates on monthly electric charges for the Spa2Go?

Answer: In regards to your questions for the portable spa the electric charges I cannot tell you exactly because electricity is charged differently everywhere. What I can tell you is that the Spa-N-A-Box Portable Spa uses as much electricity as a 75 watt light bulb if you were to leave the electricity on all day and night. You can check your electric bill and see how much they charge you per watt and find out cost from there or call your electric company and they will give you a cost.

IT WAS UP AND BEING FILLED WITHIN 30 MINUTES! LOTS OF ROOM AND LOTS OF JETS. THE ONLY NEGATIVE IS THE 15 MINUTE TIMER. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

I bought this product a few months ago and couldn't be happier. The directions were easy to follow and I immediately filled it. I'm not sure if I want to keep it up all winter but by next year I will have my deck enclosed so that I can use it all year round. It heats up quickly and holds the heat. It is so relaxing and my only regret is not purchasing it sooner. Myself and daughters love it!

  6. My wife Terry purchase this spa a few weeks ago while I was remodeling and converting our unused bedroom to our spa room, I built a 8'x8' floor out of review by on 11/21/2014

My wife Terry purchase this spa a few weeks ago while I was remodeling and converting our unused bedroom to our spa room, I built a 8'x8' floor out of 2x4s 16" on center 7/16" sheeting plywood and Terry installed 12" peel and stick vinyl tile. This is built on top of existing floor which is carpeted. The spa installs easy, filled with water from our cold outside hose and it took about 36 hrs to reach 104 degrees, of corse I couldn't wait lol,,, it was so awesome to feel the hot warm water and then turn the pump on for the bubbles, so relaxing,,while seating in the spa the water level was about to my shoulders so I could hardly hear the pump just the bubbles around me. After about 10 min. I shut off pump and just sat there in peace and quiet. The next day I purchase some spa chemicals from Wally World and it is keeping @ the correct ppm between 2 and 4 and the water is cristal clear. We are very satified with this spa and the compandy we purchased from!,, thank you so much!!! from Harley Tom and Terry,, If anyone needs more info please fell free to email: us at attom53@yahoo.com PS,, one more thing we did install 1 revereable fans in our bedroom window to help remove the mosture while the spa is being used.

  8. We got our Spa N-A Box about 3 months ago review by on 11/21/2014
    Rating

We got our Spa N-A Box about 3 months ago. I waited a couple of months to review this spa due to we werekinda leary about buying it because a lot of the reviews we read werent very good. First off a lot of people complained it didnt hold heat very well if cold outside. Second a lot of people complained about having to replace the motor quickly and alot. Third people said they didnt all the parts Etc.. Etc... Etc... Well first off it keeps heat GREAT. However we did do a couple things different then we read. We put our Spa N-A Box in a 3 sided room with an open sided roof and just 3 sides, kinda like a 1/2 enclosed porch. It's a really big room addition 20X40 and a LOT of open areas not enclosed by any means. Just enough to let it get some wind and very little rain and snow, we wanted the effects of outside but not the rain and wind, snow on the SPA. It is awasome. We live in the Ozark Mts. of Missouri and our weather changes by the minute, one day 3 degrees the next 40 degrese. We usually have very bad winters here, subzero temps. This year we had a few day below zero and the SPA stayed very warm. On a day when the temp was 3 degrees below zero and the winds were 50mph, it didnt loose heat very much. It went fro 104 ( temp showed on the SPA not sure? My husband an I think it's a lot hotter then that. Going to get something an text it ourselves ) to 98 after 1 hour. NOT BAD. I am the type of person who Loves HOT UPDATE : 10/17/2012 We have now had our Spa-In-A-Box for 9 months. Still LOVE it. Didn't get to use as much thru the real hot summer days, but got lucky on some nites. Was just too HOT outside to use. ( 110 degreese ) I didnt want to lower the temp on the spa, that just takes away the Hot Tub effect. Anyway, it's still working great, we couldn't be happier with it. Just wanted to do an update to let everyone know after 9 months, going on 10 that it still works great and holds heat. One thing I forgot to say in my first review, when we installed the Spa_In_A-Box we did put it on a platform and on top of the platform floor my husband did put on a type of insulating board, something like what is used when roofing. It doesnt let cold air come in from the floor thru the bottom of the spa or let it escape out of the bottom of the spa either. Like a insulated barrier to keep the heat in the spa. I would suggest if you live in a cold climate you put this type or somthing like it between the spa bottom and floor, ground, or whatever it's setting on so the heat won't escape that way. I am sure that is one reason our spa holds heat so well, a well worth $20 investment for the insulated board. You can pick it up at any hardware store. Ok, that's my update, I will update again after this winter if I can and let you know how it worked thru the cold winter months again. I sure hope it does as good as it did last winter. Hope everyone's enjoying their Spa-In-A-Box as much as we are.

  11. We purchased our spa n box 4 years ago to use at our summer place review by Alan Weiser on 1/8/2013

We purchased our spa n box 4 years ago to use at our summer place. We are seasonal campers in a campground in Northern Minnesota and we set our spa n box up every spring and take it down every fall and store it in our basement at home. Not only do we love it our Grand Children adore it, we have to fight with them to get them ous so we can get in. It is easy to install, easy to maintain, and easy to dis assemble in the fall. We would not be with out it. Kim Z.

  14. Put this up a day and a half ago, waited impatiently for it to warm up review by Ruby Hooper on 1/8/2013
    Rating

Put this up a day and a half ago, waited impatiently for it to warm up. Outside temps are low and filled it from the garden hose, so it took a little while. Set it for 104 degrees and got in today at 103. Deceptively warm... got too warm within half an hour, and turned it down, then ran the bubbles for about 10 min., just made it comfortable. Stayed in for another 20 minutes or so and finally decided I had to get out. I was worried about others comments (other sites) about reliability of the pump, but so far I'm really happy. Was nice to sit under the stars with ambient temp below 60 degrees and be toasty warm and comfy. Yes, the air blower is noisy when it kicks in, but with my earbuds in, music playing, and bubbles bubbling, who cares? Maybe the neighbors, but since they aren't all that quiet, oh well. I did do one slight modification by stuffing bubble wrap around the pipes going through to the spa since the inflated collar doesn't fit all that close, and I hope that will help the heat retention a bit. UPDATE A year and a half later and I'm still happy with it. Use year round and no problems. Great value. Only issue is now it costs less than I paid.

  15. This thing is great review by Barbara George on 1/8/2013
    Rating

This thing is great. set up is gravy, took about 25 minutes with a beer in one hand. It did take a couple of day to get up to 104 degrees but it holds that temperature fine. I did fill it with 45 degree hose water. The pump motor is a little loud (about as loud as a small shop vac). Plenty of bubbles. I would recommend spa in a box to anybody. you wont regret buying one.
