Description
The Thigh High TED Compression Stockings With Open Toes have a graduated pressure pattern from the ankle to the upper thigh. The pattern maintains an appropriate flow of blood in the patient’s legs. It is ideal for bedridden patients after leg and hip surgeries to prevent blood clots.
The stockings have a defined heel pocket for proper placement and comfort. They also have a toe opening for convenient access to the medical professionals for examining the foot. Each stocking has an interrupted band at the thigh for the prevention of slippage. The stockings are made of a soft, comfortable fabric that doesn’t leave harsh seams or ridges on the skin.
These anti-embolism stockings come in different sizes depending on the users’ calf circumference and leg length. The stockings are available in short, long and regular lengths. The compression for all stockings are 18mmHg at the ankles, 14mmHg at the calf, 8mmHg at the popliteal, 10mmHg at the lower thigh and 8mmHg at the upper thigh.
