Description
The Tubigrip Bandages are general purpose bandages that are ideal to be applied to any part of the body. The wraps are made of cotton and covered with elastic threads. The cotton material ensures that the bandage is breathable and comfortable for extended periods of time. The elastic thread construction gives the bandage the elasticity to conform to the natural contours of the user’s body for a perfect fit. Use the chart below to select the correct size for your needs.
The Elastic Tubular Bandages are easy to apply and require no extra tapes or pins for the application. The bandages don’t lose their effectiveness after washing and can be reused multiple times after a wash. Since the bandage has to be cut to fit the part of the body it has to be applied to, it reduces wastage. For maximum effect, it is suggested to put on the Tubigrip as a double layer with a slight overlap. To achieve this, simply cut double the length of the bandage required for the body part. As a double layer, it exerts a light compression evenly over the whole area. The bandage provides an effective support for a long time without restricting the movement of the body part or causing any discomfort.
The Tubigrip is an ideal support bandage to treat strains, sprains and soft tissue injuries on the legs, feet, hands and torso. The bandage is also beneficial for post-burn scarring, general edema and ribcage injuries. It is important to note that the bandage is not suitable for people with latex allergies.
