After having the lift professionally mounted (without the chair), I was easily able to adjust the platform to fit the chair once it arrived! It is simple to operate and the arm really does hold down the chair. The first time we used it we traveled over 300 miles. I have it set up so that the steering arm of the chair is next to the pole. I really should have adjusted the slats so that we could have driven the chair on the tray with the control arm away from the pole. Perhaps I will do that! It will make it easier to drive off the tray when unloading. Glad we got it!
