Andover CoFlex TLC

The Andover Coflex TLC is a unique and effective two-layer compression bandage. The bandage offers both wound exudate absorption and restorative compression to the wound area. It is ideal to treat a wide range of venous wounds like venous leg ulcers and associated edemas.

The first layer of the two-layer design of the bandage is an absorbent layer made out of foam. It supplements the primary wound dressing and quickly wicks away all the exudate draining from the wound and helps keep the periwound skin dry. It helps to maintain an optimum moisture balance which also enhances wound healing. It also has excellent odor and itch control properties for maximum comfort. The second layer of the bandage is the layer that exerts a slight compression on the wound. This compression helps facilitate better blood circulation through the wound and also aids in the healing process. The bandage features Easy HandTear technology that allows users to remove the dressing without the need for scissors or any tools.

The Coflex TLC is incredibly easy to apply. The breathable fabric prevents the build-up of heat and moisture and ensures a comfortable wear for extended periods of time. The bandage has a non-slip surface and securely stays in position. It comes with a nylon stocking that is worn over the dressing to prevent snagging and supports the dressing under clothing. It is important to note that this latex-free bandage is not recommended to be used as a primary dressing.
