Cardinal Wings Plus Underpads w/ Adhesive or Tuckable Flap - Heavy Absorbency

The Cardinal Health Wings Plus, formerly Covidien STA-PUT Underpads, are highly absorbent underpads with a multi-layer design that provides maximum area coverage and absorbency. There are two options to help the underpaid stay in place. One has an adhesive backing and the other is designed with tuckable wings. Both pads are ideal to protect large bed areas or other surfaces from heavy incontinence leaks. The absorbent area is large enough to provide the same amount of protection as three to four regular fluff underpads. Users can choose from multiple sizes to suit their needs and achieve maximum coverage.

The underpads are made of three layers. The first layer is a spunbound nonwoven topsheet that is incredibly permeable to moisture and liquids. It quickly channelizes all the fluids into the highly absorbent core. The soft topsheet is also breathable to ensure comfort and prevents the buildup of heat and moisture. The middle layer has a super-absorbent polymer core that provides maximum fluid retention and also eliminates fluid odors to maintain a pleasant environment. It helps keep the user’s skin dry and healthy for long periods of time. These Wings Plus Underpads have a poly backing that is waterproof and prevents all fluids from leaking onto the surface below. The backsheet is also melt-resistant and has a diamond-pattern embossed design to ensure pad stability on different surfaces. The stability of the pad is also ensured by the provided adhesive strips, which stick to the surface below and prevent the underpad from bunching during use. The underpads are latex-free and ideal for overnight use.
