Description
DJO Aircast AirSelect standard walking boots are designed for comfort and engineered for healing. They are made from a durable, shell that helps support limbs while providing protection, while the built-in adjustable air cells provide comfortable compression and support. The PDAC L4361 Airselect walking aircast standard brace is designed to help treat stable fractures of the foot, ankle, and lower leg; severe ankle sprains; and post-operative immobilization. This product's polypropylene shell can be cut or molded to fit. The lab-tested design of the Donjoy AirSelect Standard Boot encourages a natural gait. The specially designed Soft-Strike heel absorbs shock in a way that reduces heel loading and prevents impact-related stresses. Plus, the fact this boot can be taken off, it makes bathing a breeze, especially with a Medline knockdown bath bench. Aircast AirSelect is designed to be comfortable and allow the user to walk with their injuries, but if you ever get tired but can't take a break, try the Drive Dual-Pad Steerable Knee Walker.
How to Properly Put On
- Unfasten Straps and Remove Front Panel and Open Liner
- Place Foot inside Boot with Heel At Far Back of Boot
- Wrap Liner around Leg and Replace Front Panel
- Position Panel so Logo is Over Toes and Upper Part is Secured to Liner
- Secure Straps from Bottom to Top
- Tighten Straps until Snug But Comfortable Fit is Achieved
- Begining on Injured Side of Leg, Inflate Air Cells
- To Inflate Air Cells, Turn Selector Dial to Number of Desired Cell to Inflate
- Press Inflation Pump Until Air Cell is Snug
- Repeat for Other Air Cells
- To Deflate, Turn Selector Dial to Desired Air Cell to Deflate
- Press Small Release Button Located Next to Inflation Pump
- Hold Button Until Desired Pressure is Achieved
- Repeat for Other Air Cells
How to Properly Take Off
- Turn Selector Dial to Desired Aircell to Deflate
- Press and Hold Small Release Button Located Next to Inflation Pump
- Hold Button Until Air Cell is Completely Deflated
- Repeat for All Air Cells
- Unfasten Straps on Boot
- Remove Top Panel and Open Liner
- Gently Remove Leg from Boot
