Description
The Cardinal Health Simplicity Basic Underpad is primarily designed to provide light to moderate absorbency from incontinence leakages to protect surfaces. The topsheet of the underpad is made of a spunbond nonwoven material that is incredibly soft to the skin and guarantees patient comfort. The topsheet has a diamond-embossed pattern that facilitates efficient and quick channelization of fluids into the absorbent core.
The Simplicity Basic Underpad has a non-polymer fluff absorbent core that disperses the liquid deep within itself and provides maximum protection against moisture and incontinence leaks. The absorbent core also neutralizes the fluids' pH level and protects the skin against rashes and irritations while maintaining skin dryness. The underpad has a water-resistant polypropylene backsheet that prevents the liquids from leaking out to the surfaces below. The backsheet is also resistant to melting in a high-temperature environment.
The Simplicity Basic Underpads offer moderate absorbency underpad that is primarily used to provide protection to surfaces like bed mattresses, linens, chairs, couches etc. against light to moderate incontinence leakages. It is also suitable to be used for other purposes such as potty-training pets. Due to its large size and dimensions, it is ideal to be used on beds in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and even beds at home. The underpad is disposable and recommended to be used by a single patient only. The underpad is latex-free and will not trigger any allergic reactions in people with latex allergies.
