Description
The Xeroform Occlusive Gauze Dressing is a non-adherent wound dressing, fit for deep and shallow wounds. The wound dressing provides complete protection to the wound from the external environment. This helps prevent infection and heal the wound faster. The dressing does not stick to the wound and prevents it from catching while taking it off the wound.
The Xeroform Dressing is available in both occlusive and non-occlusive variants. The key difference between the two is that occlusive dressing is a totally sealed dressing that does not allow any air and water to come in contact with the wound. The Xeroform non-occlusive dressing allows the air to pass through to allow the wound to breathe.
The dressing comes in 9 models based on dimensions and is available in different forms such as an overwrap, strip, patch or roll. Apart from promoting the healing of wounds, the occlusive mesh gauze dressing is also ideal for compression therapy.
