Securi-T No Sting Wipe Barrier Protective Dressing

The Securi-T USA No Sting Wipe provides a protective barrier between the skin surrounding the stoma. It protects the skin from fluids and keeps the skin free from irritation. No Sting Wipes are non-irritating and fast drying. It is designed to help film and tape adhesion and prevents skin maceration.

What is a No Sting Prep Dressing?

This type of wipe does not contain alcohol, which can be painful on damaged skin. This dressing forms a protective film on the skin upon application, which helps clean and prepare the area for ostomy sites, external catheters, around drainage tubes, and to prep skin associated with Dermatitis.

How Often Should it Be Applied?

When used with non-adhesive products, it is recommended to use every 24-96 hours. In extreme cases that require additional cleaning, it may be necessary to clean the area every 12-24 hours.

How to Use a No Sting Wipe

1. Clean Your Skin with a Gentle Soap and Warm Water
2. Make Sure Your Skin is Completely Dry Before Applying the Wipe
3. Be Careful not to Apply Directly to the Stoma (Only the Surrounding Area)
4. Make Sure that You Apply Only a Thin Layer
5. Allow the Barrier to Fully Dry (This May take up to 30 Seconds)
6. Apply Your Wafer on Top of the Barrier
