This dressing can be used on many types of acute and chronic wounds, including for traumatic wounds, post-operation wounds, donor sites, first and second-degree burns, and several types of ulcers. The fluid that enters the bandage forms into a gel and prevents further fluid seepage. Little discharge is lost, even when the wound is under compression.
