Description
The Drive Competitor II Hi-Low Height Adjustable Bed is a highly advanced and functional bed that comes in an ultra-compact storage carton with all the bed components included. The head and foot sections of the bed can be adjusted using a hand controller with easy-to-use buttons. The hand controller glows in the dark and has a power indicating light for easy accessibility. In case of a power failure, the pendant has a battery backup powered by a 9-volt battery for emergency purposes.
The Competitor II Semi-Electric Bed is designed with a hand crank to adjust the bed's height. The frame is extra-light with both the head and foot frames weighing in at 41 pounds each to assist with transport as well as easy bed assembly. The frame also has safety locks with cotter pin and clasp to prevent the frame from becoming loose. The slat deck adds strength and prevents sagging. The Competitor II bed frame supports a user up to 350 pounds and up to 450 pounds with all accessories. The self-contained motor is mounted underneath the bed at the foot section. This reduces the noise of operation and can be easily installed and removed as required. The motor is approved by the UL standards to ensure the patient’s safety. Both the legs and the deck of the bed are adjustable in height. The bottoms of the legs are equipped with non-slip feet that maintain maximum stability. The head and footboards of the frame are easily interchangeable. The bed comes as a complete set with a bed frame, head and footboard with optional full or half rails and/or a firm Innerspring mattress - 15006 that measures 36 x 80 inches and supports 250 pounds.
