3M Comply Lead Free Steam Indicator Tape - 1322-24MM

3M Comply Steam Indicator Tape is to be used primarily as a process indicator to show visual confirmation that a pack of hospital operating room supplies has been exposed to the steam sterilization process. It also serves to seal packs and can be used on all disposable and reusable wraps. This tape is a trusted high-quality, latex-free adhesive with a stretchable backing to minimize the occurrence of pop-off during sterilization. It features a Led-free ink printed in a diagonal striped pattern which changes from light beige to a darker color once it's been exposed to the sterilization process. This makes it easy for CSSD and OR personnel to verify at a glance that the packs have been properly sterilized in the autoclave. The tape may also be written on or labeled with pre-printed labels for convenience. Comply Steam Indicator Tape (3M 1322 24mm) is intended for steam sterilization at 250 to 275 degrees Fahrenheit. It is not appropriate for use with dry heat, ethylene oxide, or low-temperature sterilization.

3M Autoclave Steam Indicator Tape adheres to wrap materials of various types including cotton, poly blends, paper and plastic. Do not remove the tape from the wrap once it has been sterilized as this can introduce lint into the bag.
