The Drive Round Pre-Gelled Electrodes are a range of highly efficient electrodes that are extremely comfortable for the skin and equally effective in impulse delivery. These electrodes are pre-gelled with American made Multitask gel that provides a perfect adhesion to the skin. Users can apply these electrodes as additional electrodes to enhance the coverage of the pain area or as replacements for the older ones which may have been damaged.
The Round Pre-Gelled Electrodes are ideally designed to be used with TENS units. A TENS unit is an electrotherapy procedure that delivers electrical impulses to a pain source to provide short term pain relief. These pains could include muscle pains due to long periods of work or exercise, resulting in sprains and stiffness in muscles. The impulses produced by the TENS unit create a stimulation that helps loosen the muscles and provides relief from pain. The TENS unit is connected with the self-adherent padded electrodes that can be comfortably placed on the back, neck and muscle areas.
There are two sets of electrodes available, the Drive Medical AGF-106 Round 2" Pre Gelled Electrodes and the Drive Medical AGF-107 Round 3" Pre Gelled Electrodes. These electrodes are white in color for easy visibility and round in shape to provide maximum coverage. Each package of the electrodes includes a set of four electrodes that are sufficient enough to cover a large area of a source of pain.
