The Drive Medical Full Electric Low Height Bed comes with an easy-to-use hand pendant for electric control of the height, head and foot positions. In the event of a power failure, a hand crank offers a backup for the caregiver to position the bed as needed. This electric hospital bed is powered with three quiet motors, pre-mounted underneath at the foot of the bed. Patient transport is adjustable using two deck height options of "roll at any height" (11-1/2- 22-7/8 inches) or "roll at low height" (9-1/2- 19-7/8 inches).
This full-electric bed comes complete with attractive bed ends with a wood grain veneer. The bed will support a weight capacity of 450 pounds. It achieves this with its durable channel frame that adds strength while being lightweight to aid in easy transport. Another design feature is the frame is reinforced to maintain structural integrity keeping the frame from twisting and bending. The bedsprings have a zinc coating to resist corrosion and are color-coded to assist with an accurate installation. Drive provides a lifetime warranty on welds and a 5-year warranty on frame and motor. All other parts and components receive a 1-year warranty.
The Full Electric Low Height Hospital Bed with Optional Side Rails and Innerspring Mattress allows for customization. The full or half-length rails add security to the patient and have been safety-tested and meet FDA entrapment guidelines. The product will ship in two boxes, both boxes less than 200 pounds. The innerspring mattress addition is made of high-density fiber and comes with an anti-bacterial, anti-static cover. The mattress measures 36 W x 80 L inches and supports a patient up to 250 pounds.
